SparkPlug 2025
SparkPlug is a POS integration platform that connects brands, retailers, and frontline employees by offering rewards and incentives to drive in-store sales. Originally planned as a 1-minute promo targeting cold and warm audiences, the project evolved into an explainer video used for onboarding, ensuring new users understood the platform quickly.
The goals were (1) to bring awareness and clarity on SparkPlug’s opportunities across its intended ICPs, and (2) to communicate speed, ease, and confidence, highlighting how campaigns can be created and launched in just a few clicks.
I focused on making the video simple yet informative, turning complex features into easy-to-understand visuals while maintaining a confident, approachable feel.
This project showed my ability to adapt animations for different goals, from marketing promos to user onboarding, while keeping everything clear and brand-aligned.
Visually, the piece combined smooth transitions & match cuts, and zoomed product-in-use shots.
1) We kicked things off with a concise script to serve as a guideline for both the animatic and animation.

Pre-animation Process
2) Client’s team sends me Figma assets of Sparkplug to be used for animating.
3) Without a storyboard like my project for Adquick, making an animatic was very benefitial for my client to get an idea of the video’s overall flow and how frames would look like. Of course, down the line, you can see that some of the parts from this animatic turned out different in the final render on the top.
Sound Design
1) Using resources like Epidemic Sound, Artlist, and Envato Elements, I curate the best-fitting sounds to make my motions pop even more.
2) I then use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit add the sound effects seamlessly on top of the rendered animation.
